Lair Athletics is a goalkeeper training, coaching, and product retail business. Lair Athletics provides goalkeeper training services, subscriptions, memberships, camps, clinics, events, private sessions, group sessions, goalkeeper gloves, and related products.

Lair Athletics is not a walk-in retail store unless specifically stated. Product pickup, delivery, training attendance, and meetings must be arranged in advance.

2. No Legal, Medical, Financial, or Tax Advice

Information on this website is provided for general business, training, product, scheduling, and educational purposes only.

Nothing on this website should be treated as legal, medical, financial, tax, insurance, or professional advice.

Training content, coaching information, product recommendations, injury prevention discussion, performance guidance, and athlete development content are general in nature and may not apply to every athlete.

Customers, athletes, parents, guardians, clubs, organizations, and users should consult qualified professionals when needed, including attorneys, physicians, accountants, tax professionals, insurance providers, or licensed medical professionals.

3. Athletic Participation and Risk Disclosure

Soccer and goalkeeper training involve physical activity and risk of injury.

By participating in Lair Athletics training, camps, clinics, private sessions, group sessions, events, or related activities, participants and their parents or guardians understand that injuries may occur.

Potential risks may include, but are not limited to:

  • Muscle strains

  • Sprains

  • Bruising

  • Cuts or abrasions

  • Falls

  • Collisions

  • Ball impact

  • Turf burns

  • Joint injuries

  • Head injuries

  • Overuse injuries

  • Weather-related risks

  • Field or facility-related risks

  • Aggravation of pre-existing injuries or conditions

Goalkeeper training may involve diving, jumping, landing, sprinting, cutting, reaction movements, ball impact, contact with the ground, and other high-intensity movements.

Participants are responsible for determining whether they are healthy enough to train. Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether a minor athlete is healthy enough to participate.

Lair Athletics does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, rehabilitation services, or medical clearance.

4. Parent and Guardian Responsibility

Lair Athletics works with youth athletes. Parents and guardians are responsible for:

  • Registering athletes accurately

  • Providing correct contact information

  • Managing payment and subscriptions

  • Communicating relevant medical, behavioral, or safety concerns

  • Ensuring athletes arrive with appropriate equipment

  • Ensuring athletes follow coach instructions

  • Arranging timely drop-off and pickup

  • Reviewing all business policies before purchase or participation

Lair Athletics is not a childcare provider. Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervision outside the active training environment and for timely pickup after sessions.

5. Youth Athlete Privacy

Lair Athletics respects athlete and family privacy.

Because our business works with youth athletes, we may collect limited information necessary to provide training, scheduling, communication, order fulfillment, safety, and customer support.

This may include athlete name, parent or guardian contact information, age group, training level, booking history, and relevant safety information provided by the parent or guardian.

Lair Athletics does not knowingly collect unnecessary personal information from children. Parent or guardian involvement may be required for youth athlete registration, purchases, communication, and participation.

6. Photos, Video, Testimonials, and Media Use

Lair Athletics may capture photos, videos, testimonials, reviews, training clips, or other media during training sessions, camps, clinics, events, product demonstrations, or business activities.

If you do not want yourself or your minor athlete photographed, filmed, tagged, or featured for promotional purposes, you must notify Lair Athletics in writing at:

Lair Athletics will make reasonable efforts to honor written opt-out requests. However, public events, group settings, tournaments, camps, and shared field environments may include incidental background appearances.

Lair Athletics does not sell athlete images or personal information.

7. Products, Retail Partner Goods, and West Coast Goalkeeping Disclosure

Lair Athletics may sell goalkeeper gloves and related products, including products from West Coast Goalkeeping and other third-party brands.

Lair Athletics may operate as a retail partner, reseller, affiliate, distributor, or sales partner for certain products.

Product names, images, descriptions, logos, trademarks, and brand references related to West Coast Goalkeeping or other third-party brands belong to their respective owners.

Use of third-party product names, images, descriptions, or brand references does not mean Lair Athletics owns those brands.

Lair Athletics makes reasonable efforts to display accurate product information, but product descriptions, prices, images, color, sizes, availability, features, and packaging may change at any time.

Product images may differ from the actual item due to lighting, photography, supplier updates, manufacturer changes, screen settings, or product revisions.

8. No Guarantee of Product Availability

Product availability may change quickly.

Lair Athletics may update, limit, cancel, or modify orders if an item is unavailable, discontinued, incorrectly priced, incorrectly listed, delayed, or unable to be fulfilled.

If a product cannot be fulfilled, Lair Athletics may contact the customer with available options, including substitution, exchange, store credit, cancellation, or another appropriate resolution based on the applicable policy and situation.

9. No Refunds and Exchange-Only Product Policy

Lair Athletics generally does not offer refunds.

Physical products may be eligible for exchange only if they meet the requirements of our Return and Refund Policy.

Goalkeeper gloves and related products must be unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and in original condition to be considered for exchange.

Used goalkeeper gloves are not eligible for exchange. This includes gloves used in training, warmups, matches, field activity, or any situation that causes dirt, wear, turf marks, latex damage, odor, water damage, or visible use.

Training sessions, memberships, subscriptions, camps, clinics, events, gift cards, sale items, discounted items, customized products, and used products are final sale unless otherwise required by law.

Customers should review product size, model, palm cut, finger protection, and fit information carefully before purchasing.

10. Shipping, Pickup, and Local Delivery

Lair Athletics may offer shipping, pickup at training, or local delivery by arrangement.

Pickup at training must be arranged in advance and is not guaranteed unless confirmed.

Local delivery or personal handoff may be available by arrangement within 1 mile of Woodinville, Washington.

Orders outside the local pickup or local delivery arrangement area must include shipping.

Shipping timelines are estimates only. Lair Athletics is not responsible for carrier delays, weather delays, incorrect shipping information, returned packages, or delays caused by third-party fulfillment partners.

11. Training Results and Performance Disclaimer

Lair Athletics is committed to serious goalkeeper development, but we do not guarantee specific athletic outcomes.

Lair Athletics does not guarantee:

  • Team selection

  • Starting positions

  • Playing time

  • College recruitment

  • Scholarship offers

  • Professional opportunities

  • Club placement

  • Match performance

  • Injury prevention

  • Specific technical results

  • Specific developmental timelines

Athlete growth depends on many factors, including effort, attendance, consistency, health, coaching environment, team context, maturity, fitness, mindset, and independent work outside training.

12. Scheduling, Field Access, and Weather Disclosure

Training schedules, locations, and session formats may change based on:

  • Field availability

  • Facility restrictions

  • Coach availability

  • Weather

  • Safety conditions

  • Attendance

  • Seasonal demand

  • Holidays

  • Local events

  • Business needs

Lair Athletics may reschedule, modify, cancel, or relocate sessions when necessary.

Customers are responsible for checking communications related to schedule changes, including email, booking notifications, text messages, customer account updates, or other official communication channels used by Lair Athletics.

13. Subscription and Membership Disclosure

Lair Athletics may offer subscriptions, memberships, recurring billing plans, prepaid training plans, or other purchase options.

By purchasing a recurring plan, customers authorize recurring charges according to the billing terms shown at checkout.

Subscription payments are non-refundable once billed.

Customers are responsible for managing, canceling, pausing, or updating subscriptions before the next billing date.

Grandfathered pricing, legacy rates, discounts, or special arrangements may be offered at the discretion of Lair Athletics. If a subscription is canceled, changed, paused, or fails due to payment issues, the previous rate may not be restored.

A subscription or membership does not guarantee a specific coach, field, time slot, session format, location, group, or training result unless specifically stated in writing.

14. Separate Entity Disclosure: The Northwest Soccer Foundation

Dorian Lair may also be involved with The Northwest Soccer Foundation, a separate nonprofit organization.

The Northwest Soccer Foundation is separate from Lair Athletics.

Unless clearly stated in writing:

  • Purchases from Lair Athletics are not donations to The Northwest Soccer Foundation

  • Payments to Lair Athletics are not charitable contributions

  • Training fees paid to Lair Athletics are not nonprofit donations

  • Product purchases from Lair Athletics are not tax-deductible charitable gifts

  • Lair Athletics does not represent that customer purchases qualify for charitable tax deductions

Any nonprofit campaign, grant, scholarship, donation, fundraiser, event, or charitable initiative connected to The Northwest Soccer Foundation should be reviewed under that organization’s own materials, policies, board approvals, disclosures, and applicable nonprofit requirements.

Lair Athletics may collaborate with nonprofit organizations, clubs, community groups, or charitable initiatives, but collaboration does not merge the legal identity, finances, obligations, liability, governance, or operations of each entity.

15. Separate Entity Disclosure: West Seattle Junction FC, Rhodies FC, Clubs, and Teams

Dorian Lair may coach, consult, volunteer, work with, or provide services to soccer clubs, teams, organizations, or programs, including West Seattle Junction FC, Rhodies FC, Sound FC, and other soccer entities.

These organizations are separate from Lair Athletics unless specifically stated in a written agreement.

Lair Athletics does not own or control these organizations.

Unless clearly stated in writing:

  • Purchases from Lair Athletics are not purchases from those clubs or teams

  • Training fees paid to Lair Athletics are not club dues

  • Lair Athletics policies do not replace club policies

  • Club policies do not replace Lair Athletics policies

  • Club participation does not guarantee access to Lair Athletics services

  • Lair Athletics services do not guarantee placement, selection, playing time, roster status, or opportunities with any club, team, or organization

Any club-related matter should be directed to the applicable club, team, or organization.

16. Conflict of Interest and Role Separation Disclosure

Dorian Lair may hold multiple soccer-related roles, including coach, trainer, consultant, business owner, board member, volunteer, nonprofit officer, club staff member, retail partner, or community organizer.

Lair Athletics aims to keep business, nonprofit, club, and personal roles separate.

When Lair Athletics participates in partnerships, events, retail sales, sponsorships, community projects, clinics, grants, scholarships, or nonprofit-related activities, the relevant entity, purpose, payment flow, and responsibility should be identified as clearly as reasonably possible.

Customers, donors, families, athletes, and partners should not assume that one role, entity, or relationship automatically creates benefits, discounts, obligations, tax treatment, club placement, charitable status, or legal responsibility for another role or entity.

17. Scholarships, Discounts, Sponsorships, and Financial Assistance

Lair Athletics may offer scholarships, discounts, sponsorships, promotional pricing, grandfathered pricing, financial assistance, or special arrangements at its discretion.

These offers are not guaranteed and may change, expire, or be discontinued.

Unless stated in writing, discounts or scholarships:

  • Have no cash value

  • Cannot be transferred

  • Cannot be combined with all other promotions

  • Do not guarantee future eligibility

  • Do not apply retroactively

  • May be limited by availability, funding, schedule, or business capacity

Any nonprofit scholarship or grant connected to a separate nonprofit organization is subject to that organization’s own rules, approvals, and availability.

18. Events, Clinics, Camps, and Community Programs

Lair Athletics may operate, support, partner on, or participate in events, camps, clinics, showcases, community programs, watch parties, pop-ups, retail activations, and soccer-related gatherings.

Event participation may involve additional risks, third-party partners, public venues, facility rules, weather conditions, crowd conditions, and schedule changes.

Event details, partners, sponsors, locations, coaches, and programming may change.

Unless stated in writing, participation in an event does not guarantee future training access, discounts, selection, recruitment, scholarships, product availability, or club opportunities.

19. Third-Party Tools, Platforms, and Services

Lair Athletics may use third-party platforms and services to operate the business, including:

  • Shopify

  • Payment processors

  • Booking platforms

  • Subscription apps

  • Email tools

  • Analytics tools

  • Shipping providers
